The Indian carrot dessert to go with Beer Christmas Beer Christmas
We spoke yesterday of Christmas beer, but we did not say which match perfectly with the sweet. Today there
offer a unique aspect: a sweet carrots, of Indian origin, which is perfect for a weekend meal original and fragrant!
The original recipe calls for the use of cardamom, to spice it all, but we have replaced it with a pinch of cinnamon, much more than Christmas and perfect with the carrots!
Let's see how to prepare it.
Ingredients (4 servings) 500 g of carrots
1 liter milk 150 g caster sugar 100 g butter
A sprinkling of cinnamon
chopped pistachios, roasted and salted
sliced \u200b\u200balmonds toasted
Preparation Cook the carrots in 50 grams of butter for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the remaining butter, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Cook over low heat, stirring vigorously for 15 minutes, until everything is compact and comes away from edges.
Put the mixture into four bowls, sprinkle with sliced \u200b\u200balmonds and pistachios. Allow to cool in the fridge.
