My country
If someone would tell me: Where were you born?
My heart then I would fill with joy.
invites me to the ground, remember loved

and fragrant pine trees in the hills.
From Sicily to the Alps is all a glow
a light that shines forever,

backdrop to my land
reflect the soul of a noble race
that lit up the world of true light.
Italy is the name of the country where I was born
of genes and homeland heroes,
mother of many children in the world who have given
glory and pride, achieved at the cost of much sweat.
